1. Best New Obsession
YouTube! Before 2012, I was never really a frequent user of YouTube and wasn't really aware of the whole vlogging community and all that. Now, I am completely obsessed! Some of my favourite channels are charlieissocoollike, vlogbrothers, CGPGrey, Khyan1, and the list goes on.
2. Best Holiday
In February I went to Rome for a weekend to celebrate my cousin's birthday. It was the first time I had been to Italy and it was definitely a lot of fun! We visited the Colosseum the Pantheon, the Vatican Museum and loads more.
3. Best Something Sweet
The best treat I had this year was definitely my birthday cake from Patisserie Valerie! I basically had the entire cake myself and enjoyed every bite of it!
4. Best Beauty Splurge
My first experience with Laura Mercier products was earlier this year at a Harvey Nichols. I went a little bit crazy, letting the saleswoman talk me into buying a bunch of stuff but I have loved everything I got!

5. Best WOW Moment
Probably the best WOW/WTH moment for me was when Joseph Encinia came to do a special demonstration at my local Bikram Yoga studio in Bristol. I was absolutely dumbstruck by what this guy could do with his body!

6. Best TV Show
This is really difficult to answer as I watch a lot of TV shows! I will have to say that Game of Thrones was the best for me, but tied for second are Downton Abbey and the latest season of Mad Men.
7. Best Movie
This was a really hard one, but I think the movie I enjoyed the most last year was Chronicle.
8. Best Achievement
My best achievement this year was definitely completing my BSc in Psychology and graduating. I really enjoyed doing this degree but at the same time glad to be moving on!
9. Best Concert
The only concert I went to was the Olympics Closing Ceremony but, as you can imagine, it was pretty epic. I went with my mum which was really fun. All the acts were amazing but I particularly enjoyed seeing the Spice Girls reunited again!
10. Best Read
Probably the best book I read this year was The Fault in Our Stars by John Green. I previously hadn't read any young adult fiction novels but surprisingly I really enjoyed this one.

11. Best Guilty Pleasure
My best guilty pleasure of this year was definitely Made in Chelsea. For those that don't know, Made in Chelsea is like a UK version of the Hills. I know it is almost completely fake, but I can't stop watching it is so hilarious! The most epic moment of this season was definitely Millie slapping Spencer in the Christmas Special!

12. Best Decision
Going natural. Although I technically made the decision to stop relaxing my hair in 2011, I didn't really embrace it and properly start taking care of my natural hair until 2012. Now, I am really happy I did it and hopefully by the end of 2013 I will have achieved my goal length :)

xx

ReplyDeleteGreat post. I enjoyed reading them all. We have similar taste. I also loved the Spice Girls concert at the Olympics. They are (almost) as exciting as Michael Phelp's abs.
